Loureiro performed treatability testing to confirm reagent dosing requirements that were recommended by several product vendors for a bioremediation project:

• Treatability testing evaluated three oxygen release compounds (A, B, and C)
• Manufacturers were provided with site specific data
• Requested recommended dosing from each manufacturer based on achieving complete degradation of target compounds
• Tested all three products at maximum recommended dosage
• Maximum recommended dose reduced target compounds by only 11% to 18%
• Second and third dosages were still unable to reduce target compounds below project goals
